Baggage Agent

The Baggage Agent at Caribbean Sprinter Ltd. is the first point of contact for our customers and serves as the face of the company. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all passengers. The Baggage Agent assists customers with their luggage or shipments, provides information about itineraries and destinations, and directs them to the appropriate department. The ideal candidate must possess strong customer service skills, and have basic knowledge of our travel destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers upon arrival and provide a welcoming environment. Assist customers with their luggage or shipments, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and courtesy.
  
• Information Provision: Inform customers, especially first-time travelers, about our procedures for purchasing itineraries. Answer basic questions about our schedule and the islands we service, including Caye Chapel, Caye Caulker, and San Pedro.
  
• Basic Computer Knowledge: Assist with checking in customers / luggage and boarding the vessel.
  
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and provide seamless service to customers.
  
• Heavy Lifting: Be capable of lifting heavy items and managing luggage with care.
  
• Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently, maintaining a positive image of the company.
  
• Work Under Pressure: Handle high-pressure situations, particularly during peak travel times, ensuring customer satisfaction remains high.
